  INTRODUCTION Hoshangabad Science Teaching Project was started by Kishore Bharti in the year 1972. At present, it is running in 600 schools of about 14 districts of Madhya Pradesh, about 100000 students study the syllabus of this project every year through about 1500 teachers. This project emphasizes on the improvement of science education for classes 6 to 8. Unlike methods that emphasize rote learning, this project places learning through discovery, learning through action and learning through environment. It emphasizes on such process of teaching science. Provides knowledge which can develop scientific temper among the students and make the students confident and learners and creators of knowledge.    होशंगाबाद विज्ञान शिक्षण प्रोजेक्ट किशोर भारती के द्वारा सन 1972 में प्रारंभ किया गया वर्तमान समय में यह मध्य प्रदेश के लगभग 14 जिलों के 600 विद्यालयों में चल रहा है लगभग 1500 अध्यापकों के द्वारा  लगभग 100000 छात्र इस प्रोजेक्ट के पाठ्यक्रम को प्रत्येक वर्ष अध्ययन करती हैं । यह प्रोजेक्ट कक्षा 6 से 8 तक की विज्ञान शिक्षा के सुधार पर बल देता है रटने पर बल देने वाली विधियों के विपरीत यह प्रोजेक्ट खोज द्वारा सीखना, क्रिया द्वारा सीखना तथा वातावरण के द्वारा सीखने को स्थान देता है यह विज्ञान शिक्षण की ऐसी प्रक्रिया पर बल देता है जो छात्रों में वैज्ञानिक अभिवृद्धि विकसित कर सके तथा छात्रों को विश्वास युक्त एवं अधिगमकर्ता तथा ज्ञान का सृजन करता बना सकें।  प्रोजेक्ट के उद्देश्य  1)-विद्यालय विज्ञान शिक्षण में संशोधन:-- इस प्रोजेक्ट का  उद्देश्य विज्ञान शिक्षण को सार्वभौमिक  रूप से स्वीकार राष्ट्रीय  शैक्षिक उद्देश्यों  की पूर्ति केे योग्य बनाना है इसके लिए यह विज्ञान पाठ्यक्रम  को दैनिक जीवन के विज्ञान व तकनीकी संबंधी अनुभव से संबंधित करने पर...
